A new Netflix app is helping people find out if they’re at risk for skin cancer.
The app, called Skin Cancer Types, aims to help users determine whether they have skin cancer or not.
Netflix says it has more than 1.6 million members and uses technology to keep them informed about what’s going on in their lives.
The company says that the app was created by dermatologist Dr. Andrew Kasten and his team at The National Skin Cancer Foundation in collaboration with the Skin Cancer Research Foundation.
The research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the National Cancer Institute.
Netflix also says that it’s providing free testing and diagnosis for users.
The new app is available now in the United States and Canada.
